Elisabeth Stone is an experienced educator, administrator, and communicator in informal and public environments and with a wide variety of audiences. Her work is community-led and blends outdoor education, culturally-relevant communication, and historically-informed perspectives on community knowledge. She is committed to diversity and inclusion efforts in her own work and improving the career pipeline for people of color and from underrepresented communities. Finally, she is an experienced administrator with skills in state and local government and non-profit operations, fiscal management, grant-writing & managing, and supervision.
Volunteer and Community Service
Muertos y Marigolds Committee: May 2022-present: help facilitate and run the South Valley Day of the Dead annual community celebration. On committee to incorporate and obtain non-profit status after the fiscal sponsor dissolved. Led bylaw development and grant writing. Elected to executive committee, January 2025.
